Wow, I was just chatting with my best friend's sister Michelle Gaunya about the reunion and decided to check the class out...so sad to see so many people I know pass. I was a year ahead of Ron and thought he was a great kid.. Always respectful and cool. I remember him being under a blanket at a party with two girls... playing some a "show me the money" game... LoL. True story! Life does move fast. Its been said that High School is just a second in ones life but its a second that we replay all our life. Enjoy the reunion and much love for Ron and his family.

Ron was a fun guy to be around, and he is part of one of my fondest sports memories of my youth. He was the quarterback of our youth football team in 8th grade. He called an audible - yeah in youth football - he hit me in stride between two defenders and I ran it all the way. Years later in 1992 I ran into Ron at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner and we reminisced about out old football days. I was very sad to hear of his passing.

If you ever spoke with Ron, you would remember him fondly. May he rest in peace.

I was stationed in Korea, when I received an email from Leah Ashe, about Ron passing, Ron and I did not really talk until JV football at FT. Hunt and in chemistry class our last year at FT. Hunt. I hope he lived his life to the fullest. May God bless his family.

For 12 years Ron was a great friend, he was like a brother to me. We were side kicks. A day don't go by that I don't think about him. I talked to his sister in Feb. when I saw her in Crytal City we talk for 4 hours about all the fun me and Ron had.

I was certainly upset to hear of Ron's passing. I had just returned from the Bahamas when I called home and my mother told me that Anika Phifer had called and said that Ron had passed and his funeral had occurred. Ron was a wonderful person. I knew his family also and know that they would miss him deeply.

I was two years ahead of Ron in school but have fond memories of his playful attitude and positive outlook on any situation. We had quite a time running track together for Fort Hunt and his infections smile will never be forgotten. And neither will his taste for chocolate milk before every meet. He was a prankster at the away meets and we always had to keep an eye out for him :) I'm very sad to learn Ron is no longer with us, my prayers go out to his family and loved ones. I know how much he loved his family. He was a quality person this world needs more of.

Ron and I had lockers right next to eachother from 7th grade on. He was such a great guy! I teased him in jr. high because I was taller than him, only to hardly to come to his chest by the time we graduated. Ron always was looking out for me, telling me not to hang with certain "guys". He was definitely like having a "BIG" brother. I was so sad to see that he is gone. My prayers go out to his family.

How heartbreaking to see on this site that Ron Reeves is no longer with us!! He was a great, fun-loving, sincere guy. He will be sadly missed, my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Anika Phifer will be soooo upset to hear this, she just loved him in high school!

I remeber little league football, and Ron's father was the teams coach. That was my last year playing little league. We were on the 125 lbs. team, and we had o alot of West Potomac classmates on that team. I learned of Ron's passing while I was the Manager of the Marketing department at Granite Mortgage in Springfield, Virginia. I had hired his father for our department, and on break one day inquired about Ron...hoping to catch up on old times...I was totally taken back to learn from his father that he was no longer with us, and humbly told his father how sorry I felt, and that we had lost a good friend. Life can be short as I have learned through the years, and I am thankful to have fond memories to look back on about both Ron and his Father. If you are reading this, and remember me...I am sure I still have memories if I have not seen you for a while. The many years in school are looked backed upon and cheerished well. I look forward to seeing you all and making more memories together. Ron is missed, may he never be forgotten.
